Bitcarons - What are they?

All you need to know and how you can best enjoy them

Aren't these just your regular Macarons?

The Bitcaron is our signature Bitta-twist on the classic French macaron — the elegant, delicate dessert that has stood the test of time. In more recent years, a Korean-style macaron emerged and gained popularity for its playful personality, extra-thick fillings, and rich flavour combinations.

Inspired by this modern take, our Bitcarons bring a more indulgent, full-bodied bite, with creamy, custard-like fillings that are — surprisingly — less sweet than you’d expect.

At BittaSweet, we believe that in life, it’s often the little things that count — and dessert-making is no different. From the texture of the shell to the balance of flavour, it’s the tiny details that make all the difference. That’s what makes it BittaSweet.

We’ve thoughtfully crafted a unique range of premium flavours with care in every bite — and we promise, once you’ve tried one, you’ll taste the difference.

So without being too cryptic… we call them Bitcarons.

(See what we did there?) 😉

Best way to enjoy your Bitcarons

You can have our Bitcarons however you want, but to get them into the optimal state for the best taste experience you can follow these simple steps:

  • Upon receiving these little gems we recommend that they are first stored in the fridge at 5C for up to 2 hours before indulging. (Alternatively freeze in the freezer at -18C for about 1 hour)

  • If frozen, please thaw in room temperature for 15 mins before indulging.

Our Bitcarons couple very well with a cup of tea or coffee, so add this to your gratitude mornings or use it to cure your three-thirty-itis.

Best way to store your Bitcarons

Each and every Bitcaron is hand made from scratch with fresh ingredients and lots of love, so we recommend having them fresh.

Now if you must store them, they can stay fresh in the fridge for up to 3 days and up to 30 days frozen in the freezer. Please ensure that they are kept covered and isolated.

Our little gems are fragile and it is hard to keep them perfect during transportation, and we do try. If small imperfections do arise from these we apologise in advance.

We can guarantee of course that the taste experience will be just as great!
